Nigeria’s former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has been granted bail in the sum of N50m and one surety in lump sum. Deji Adeyanju, the Director, New Media, Peoples Democratic Party confirmed this news via his twitter handle.
The former presidential campaign spokesperson, Femi Fani Kayode, was granted bail after the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission arraigned him for laundering over N26 million. The case has been adjourned to Wednesday, December 14, 2016, for trial.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday, 21 October, 2016 re-arrested Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, after he stepped out of a courtroom at Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, where he is standing trial.
